Oyster Bay - Course #3 This Year

The countdown clock is still ticking and we are getting close my friends.

Oyster Bay will be our third course of the weekend and is consistently listed as one of the top layouts at the beach since opening in 1983 as the "Best New Resort Course" in the country by Golf Digest.  Water views, gators, other wildlife and some of the toughest greens on the strand should make this a memorable round.  Last year we had disappointing conditions, but I was able to get rain checks for this year based on that fact.  That saved us some coin this year and hopefully we will be impressed by more than the layout this year.

Make sure to check out the video tour.

This course will be a bit of a drive for us, but hopefully will be well worth the trip.

Legend's Parkland - Course #2

Parkland was the third course built at the Legend's complex.  In a word, it is a Parkland-style course.  Parkland utilizes the natural terrain with contoured, tree-lined fairways, vast natural areas, deep-faced bunkers and massive, multi-level greens.

The Myrtle Beach Sun News offers this review of the Parkland Course.
